Short-Term Manufacturing Engineering Support
Senior manufacturing support without another permanent hire.
What we do

You need another manufacturing engineer, but not another permanent employee. NxtGen provides experienced capacity for project work, engineering and programming backlogs, NPI, process improvement and temporary requirements.
Scope it to the work: one component, one cell, one project or a defined period of cover. We start on what is holding production up, not on a discovery exercise.
Remote support nationwide, on-site where the work needs presence at the machine.

Remote + on-site.
Remote engineering and programming support is available nationwide. On-site support is available from our Florida base and elsewhere by arrangement where the work needs to happen alongside your machines and team.
How engagements work.
Support can be scoped around a defined project, a number of engineering days, a block of programming hours or a short-term requirement.
There is no requirement to turn project support into a long-term consultancy engagement.
Direct engineering access.
NxtGen is intentionally lean. Client manufacturing work is led directly by experienced engineering resource rather than passed through layers of account management.
Engagement questions.
How short is short-term?
From a single job through to a defined project, a number of engineering days or a few months of cover. You use us for the requirement in front of you, then stop.
Is this the same as hiring a contractor?
You engage NxtGen against an agreed project, number of engineering days or defined period of support. There is no recruitment process or permanent headcount commitment.
Do you travel on-site?
Remote support is available nationwide. On-site support is available from our Florida base and elsewhere by arrangement where the work needs to happen alongside your machines and team.
Who actually does the work?
Experienced engineering resource, directly. NxtGen is intentionally lean, so client manufacturing work is not passed through layers of account management.
Need another experienced manufacturing engineer in the business?
Tell us the requirement and the timescale. We will scope it around the work.
