Contract CNC Programming & CAM Support

When your programmers are overloaded, the job is complex or you simply need additional capacity, send the programming to us.

— Approach

What we do

Mastercam CNC programming interface with a complex 3D component and toolpaths

We take CNC programming work off your bench. Mastercam is our primary CAM platform, and we program 3-axis through to 5-axis and multi-axis components for US machine shops and manufacturers.

Programming is developed with the process around it: tooling, cutting strategy, setup planning and workholding, so the program suits the machine and the quantity rather than just the geometry.

Send one job or a steady flow of work. Remote nationwide, with on-site support where the job needs someone at the machine.

  • 01Mastercam programming as the primary CAM platform
  • 023-axis, 4-axis, 5-axis and multi-axis work
  • 03Toolpath, tooling and cutting strategy
  • 04Setup planning and workholding integration
  • 05Cycle-time review on existing processes
  • 06Remote programming, on-site support where required

// When to bring us in

When to bring us in.

Programming backlog

Your programmers are already full.

Additional programming capacity without another permanent hire.

Difficult component

The part is harder than the last one.

Experienced support for complex machining and multi-axis work.

New work

The order landed faster than you can absorb it.

Programming and process support when a new order lands faster than your internal team can absorb it.

Process development

The program is only part of the job.

Programming developed alongside tooling, workholding and manufacturing strategy.

Cycle time

It runs, but the numbers do not work.

Review an existing process when the job is running but the numbers are not working.

Short-term cover

Your programmer is unavailable.

Project-based or temporary programming capacity when your internal resource is unavailable or overloaded.

// Capability

CNC programming capability.

  • 01Mastercam programming
  • 023-axis milling
  • 034-axis machining
  • 045-axis and multi-axis machining
  • 05Toolpath strategy
  • 06Tooling and cutting strategy
  • 07Setup and process planning
  • 08Workholding integration
  • 09Cycle-time review
  • 10CAD/model preparation
  • 11Remote programming
  • 12On-site support where required

Mastercam is our primary CAM platform. Wider experience across Siemens NX, CATIA, HyperMill, Vericut and other advanced manufacturing environments sits behind that work. Machine-ready, collision-free NC code is delivered only where simulation, machine configuration and prove-out are included in the agreed project scope.

// Delivery

Remote or on-site.

Most CNC programming work can be delivered remotely anywhere in the United States. Where the project requires machine-side support, prove-out or manufacturing engineering input, on-site support can be scoped separately.

// Process

How it works.

  1. 01

    Send the job

  2. 02

    We review the component, machine and scope

  3. 03

    You receive a clear scope and quotation

  4. 04

    Programming and engineering work begins

  5. 05

    Files, documentation and agreed support are delivered

// FAQ

Programming questions.

Which CAM platform do you program in?

Mastercam is our primary CAM platform. We also have experience across Siemens NX, CATIA, HyperMill, Vericut and other advanced manufacturing environments, and we design in SolidWorks and NX.

Do you supply machine-ready NC code?

Only where simulation, machine configuration and prove-out are part of the agreed scope. Otherwise we deliver programming based on the post processor and machine information you supply, and prove-out stays with your team.

Can you work on one job, or do you need an ongoing contract?

One component is fine. A lot of work starts as a single overflow job and turns into ongoing programming capacity when it suits the shop.

Do you work remotely or come on-site?

Most programming is delivered remotely anywhere in the United States. Where the work needs machine-side support, prove-out or manufacturing engineering input, on-site support is scoped separately.
