What does manufacturing engineering support actually cover?

Process planning, manufacturing methods, tooling selection, cutting and workholding strategy, cycle-time optimization, NPI, DFM, process troubleshooting and manufacturing estimating. We look at the whole route through the shop, not just the CAM file.

Can you help with a job that is already running badly?

Yes. That is one of the most common reasons shops call us. We review the complete manufacturing process, setup, tooling, workholding and program together, and identify where the time and cost are going.

Do you work remotely or on-site?

Both. Most process work is delivered remotely for manufacturers nationwide. Where the problem needs someone at the machine, on-site support is scoped separately.

Can you support quoting and estimating?

Yes. We support technical quotation review, process planning and manufacturing estimates. We do not set your selling prices or guarantee margin on a job.
