// When to call us

When your internal team is at capacity.

NxtGen provides experienced shop floor capacity when the work is already in the building and your team needs help getting it through.

Programming backlog

Your programmer is buried.

Send us overflow parts instead of delaying production.

Difficult job

You've won a job that needs additional experience.

Bring us in for programming, tooling, workholding and process support.

Cycle time

The job is running, but it isn't making money.

We can review the complete machining process, not just the CAM file.

Short-term capacity

You need another process engineer, but not another permanent employee.

Use NxtGen for the project, backlog or production requirement in front of you.

Quoting backlog

RFQs are waiting while your engineering team is busy.

We can support process planning, cycle-time estimating and technical quotation review.

Workholding

The setup is slowing the job down.

We design workholding around the complete machining process.

What does NxtGen MFG actually do?

We provide contract CNC programming, process engineering support, workholding and fixture design, in-house additive manufacturing, and short-term or on-site engineering support for US machine shops and manufacturers. One job or ongoing support.

Do you run your own machine shop?

NxtGen does not operate a conventional CNC job shop. We do operate in-house additive capacity for prototypes, tooling, fixtures and production polymer components. CNC machining and specialist inspection are managed through our qualified partner network, with NxtGen responsible for the engineering, specification and agreed quality requirements.

Do you have any production capacity of your own?

Yes, for additive. We run six in-house FDM printers, including a Stratasys Fortus 450mc and F170, for functional prototypes, jigs, fixtures, tooling and low-volume polymer production parts. Stratasys Fortus 450mc.

Do you work remotely or on-site?

Both. Programming and process work is delivered remotely for shops nationwide, and we come on-site when the job needs someone at the machine.

What CAM systems do you program in?

Mastercam is our preferred system, and we also program in HyperMill, Fusion 360 and EdgeCAM. We design in SolidWorks and Siemens NX. Mastercam.

Can we send you a single job, or do you need a contract?

A single job is fine. Most shops start with one component or one backlog, then use us again when capacity gets tight.

Is NxtGen MFG part of another company?

No. NxtGen MFG LLC is an independent, US-owned company based in Winter Garden, Florida.

Can you work on ITAR or export-controlled parts?

NxtGen MFG is US-based. We are happy to sign NDAs and discuss applicable data-handling and export-control requirements before sensitive technical information is shared. US Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
